Asynchronous Longitudinal Vibration of the Wheelset System

چکیده

The longitudinal flutter of the wheelset system has caused abnormal wear wheel-rail and stripping tread surface, resulting in complex dynamic problems locomotive. And asynchronous vibration could bring about different left right wheels when was some non-ideal working conditions. model considering effect bending moment is established to obtain equivalent force, which can carry out response simulation analysis , meanwhile, irrational influencing factors are discussed. results show that stable creep rates lower than critical rate, otherwise, it will produce self-excited vibration. indicate larger displacement center mass lead load system, increasing amplitude wheel on offset side. velocity one with smaller primary stiffness increase, while other decrease. However, eccentric almost no amplitude.

Wheelset Bearing Vibration Analysis Based on Nonlinear Dynamical Method

The wheelset bearing play an important role in train running safety. In this paper, we introduce the nonlinear dynamical method to study the wheelset bearing vibration signal. Based on the comparative studies of the phase graph and the correlation dimension of the vibration signals under normal condition, outer peeling fault condition and rolling element electric erosion fault condition, the fo...

Wheelset Condition Monitoring Based on Pass-by Vibration Signals

Apart from regular wheel wear such as decreasing wheel diameters and reduced flange thicknesses and heights, wheel flats (WF) and oval wheels (or OOR, Out-Of-Roundness) are the most common wheelset problems for railway vehicles. Within the FP7 Research Project “Saferail”, APT has developed an innovative wheelset monitoring system so-called “Wheel flat and Out of Roundness Monitoring (WORM) syst...

Investigation of Thermoelastic Damping in the Longitudinal Vibration of a Micro Beam

In the design of high Quality factor (Q) micro or nano beam resonators, different dissipation mechanisms may have damaging effects on the quality factor. One of the major dissipation mechanisms is the thermoelastic damping (TED) that needs an accurate consideration for prediction. In this paper, thermoelastic damping of the longitudinal vibration of a homogeneous micro beam with both ends clamp...
